Overview
*This is our Final Year Project for Undergraduate Degree.
AI songwriting tools like Suno have gained popularity, allowing users to generate lyrics based on simple themes using large-language models. However, these tools lack the ability to generate melodies and consider pronunciation nuances, particularly in non-popular languages like Cantonese. In this academic project, we aim to overcome these limitations by generating lyrics and melodies based on user themes, incorporating Mandarin, English, and Cantonese using a Language and Melody Model (LLM). By leveraging LLM's capabilities, we strive to enhance the overall songwriting experience and produce more diverse and culturally inclusive compositions.
